Seil Island – The Bridge Across the Atlantic

The Bridge Across the Atlantic (sweet reflections in the water)

Famous for it’s bridge over the Atlantic and a nice bridge it is too.  Totally different to what I was expecting (yes I had visions of a massive new metal structure tall and striking) however the 1972 built bridge connecting Seil Island to the Scottish mainland by crossing a rather small stream of Atlantic water is a gorgeous single arch (humped back) masonry brick bridge.
